Role overview

Your mission

Onepage GmbH is an AI-first SaaS company with 19,000 paying customers and over 250,000 users, making it one of the largest web presence platforms in the German-speaking market. With Onepage AI 2.0, modern, fast, and high-converting websites and landing pages are created via prompts – and remain fully controllable in the visual editor afterward.

Onepage is founder-led, self-funded, and profitable, and we're starting our next chapter: Onepage is becoming a group. The website builder remains our engine. Around it, we're building a portfolio of software brands that matter to our target audience – small and medium-sized businesses and agencies.

To do this, we're building a new function within the company – and we're looking for the person who builds it with us. You'll work directly with the CEO and the Finance team, build the pipeline, evaluate deals, and maintain relationships with the owners of potential targets.

You don't just want to support deals — you want to think, negotiate, and decide alongside us? Join us as M&A Manager (m/f/d)!

Your Responsibilities

  • Market Screening & Target Identification: You identify potential acquisition candidates (targets) and evaluate them together with our CEO and Finance team based on strategic criteria.
  • Deal Flow & Pipeline: You systematically build our deal flow – through direct outreach, brokers, networks, and our ecosystem of customers and agency partners – and keep the pipeline structured and up to date.
  • Engagement with Targets: You stay in direct contact with owners and management of potential target companies and build an initial basis for discussion.
  • Deal Analysis & Valuation: Together with the Finance team, you prepare company valuations (e.g., DCF, multiples-based methods) and business cases for potential transactions.
  • Due Diligence: You support the commercial, legal, and tax review of target companies — in coordination with the CEO, Finance team, and external advisors (lawyers, tax advisors, auditors).
  • Negotiation & Structuring: You help prepare negotiations of term sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements, and support them together with the CEO.
  • Transaction Support: You support transactions from initiation through signing/closing, in close coordination with the CEO and Finance team.
  • Post-Merger Integration: You support integration planning following a successful acquisition and develop an integration playbook with us that we reuse deal after deal.

Your profile

  • Experience: You have several years of experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, or strategy consulting.
  • Education: You hold a completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable field.
  • Know-how: You have solid knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling.
  • SaaS Understanding: You understand how software companies work – ARR, net revenue retention, churn, CAC – and can derive valuation logic from it. Experience with buy-and-build models or software deals is a big plus.
  • Due Diligence: You have experience conducting or supporting due diligence processes.
  • Communication: You are confident and persuasive in negotiations, with strong communication skills when engaging with executives and business owners.
  • Way of Working: You work independently, in a structured way, and with strong initiative when it comes to actively approaching targets.
  • Network: Ideally, you bring contacts in the software, hosting, or agency scene – or the ability to build them quickly.
  • Languages: You are fluent in German and English.

Why us?

  • Build-up role: You're the first person at Onepage focused exclusively on M&A. Processes, tools, and playbook are created with you – not before you.
  • Direct line: You work directly with the CEO and the Finance team; decisions are made quickly.
  • Visibility: Your work shapes what the Onepage group looks like in three years.
  • Remote-First: Work 100% remotely and enjoy maximum flexibility in your day-to-day work life.
  • Health: Your health is important to us – we support you with supplemental health insurance and a subsidy for the Wellhub health program.
  • Sustainable Benefits: Receive attractive employee discounts across many categories via FutureBens.
  • Collaboration & Growth: Actively contribute your ideas, help shape processes, and expand your skills through continuous learning and development.
