Your Impact

As a Paralegal at Next Health, you will play an integral role in supporting the executive team and ensuring the seamless operation of legal processes across our corporate and franchise entities. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, insurance carriers, and franchise partners.

The Paralegal will support a broad range of corporate and franchise legal matters, including contract and franchise agreement management, legal research, entity formation, document preparation, file management, and coordination with external legal teams. Your attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion will be essential to maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of Next Health's legal operations.

Key Responsibilities

We're in search of a proactive and highly skilled Paralegal to deliver comprehensive administrative support to our executives. In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Demonstrate alignment with Next Health’s core values and mission in all aspects of work.
  • Conduct legal research to support compliance initiatives and business operations.
  • Draft, review, manage, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate filings, and entity records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Coordinate contract execution, including obtaining approvals and signatures, and ensuring proper distribution and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain centralized databases and corporate legal records, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support entity formation, governance, registration, maintenance, and dissolution, including preparation and filing of state and federal documentation.
  • Prepare and manage annual reports, state filings, and compliance documents to ensure all entities remain in good standing.
  • File legal documents with governmental agencies in accordance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Liaise with outside counsel, facilitating communication and providing necessary documentation.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients under attorney supervision to gather information, provide updates, and respond to inquiries.
  • Support venture financing activities (Seed through Series rounds), including SAFEs, convertible notes, and key financing documents such as term sheets and stock purchase agreements.
  • Manage data rooms and organize diligence materials for financing and other transactions.
  • Support the administration and renewal of corporate insurance policies, including general liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, and property coverage.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Stay current on legal developments, procedures, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the legal team as needed.

  • Support corporate and franchise operations, including contracts, franchise agreements, entity formation, corporate records, and other legal matters across multiple entities and locations.
  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and requests in a fast-paced and growing organization.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external attorneys, insurance carriers, brokers, and other professional partners.
  • Maintain and handle confidential legal, business, and personnel information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Take ownership of projects and responsibilities from initiation through completion, proactively identifying needs and following through on outstanding items.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization when managing agreements, legal documents, corporate records, and important deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and improving legal processes, systems, and organizational practices as Next Health continues to expand its corporate and franchise operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal and business needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.

What You Will Bring

We're seeking candidates who possess:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of paralegal or legal operations experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting corporate, franchise, transactional, or business operations is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, legal documentation, and corporate records.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common document-management and business systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with executives, attorneys, and cross-functional teams.

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $90,000 to $95,000 per year, plus benefits.
Please note that pay offered may vary based on individual factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements specific to the position offered. Details regarding participation in benefit plans will be provided upon receiving an offer of employment.
