To accommodate our continued growth, Five9 is seeking an experienced and motivated Channel Development Manager to help expand our partner ecosystem in the DACH region. This is a key position within our Sales organization and will report directly to the Senior Director, Channel Sales. This mission driven role is responsible for deepening existing partner relationships, opening new routes to market, and helping partners build and sell customer experience offers at speed and scale within Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Some of the major focus areas of this role are:

  • Manage and grow the business relationship with Five9's strategic partners in the DACH region.
  • Drive a business plan that scales partner led revenue and develops a robust local partner ecosystem.
  • Build enablement programs that attract, develop and maintain relationships with resellers, agents and systems integrators.
  • Build preference for Five9's customer experience / contact center software within partners' portfolios and sales teams.
  • Drive pipeline development and sales results within key DACH partners.
  • Support partners throughout the entire customer journey lifecycle, from onboarding to joint go to market execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and expand critical relationships within named partners that deliver a profitable business model and enhance Five9's solution and services capabilities in DACH,
  • Recruit and gain commitment from new regional partners to accelerate growth.
  • Develop, retain and own Five9's strategic partner relationships to scale the solution and increase value to customers.
  • Develop and execute plans that position Five9 as the first and best option for contact center solutions within partner organizations.
  • Align closely with Five9 Sales to represent partner interests internally and elevate partner visibility across the organization.
  • Develop and deliver partner training, enablement and certification programs.
  • Align closely with Sales and Channel to close customer opportunities, manage forecasts and pipelines.
  • Structure and negotiate partnership agreements that lead to incremental value and capabilities.
  • Develop detailed operational plans with partners including engagement models, sales targets and GTM strategies.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience working in a dynamic team focused on driving growth.
  • 5+ years of experience in software sales, partner development, or business development within a cloud-based environment, with an emphasis on software sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and grow business relationships with an emphasis on sales and partner processes.
  • Strong operational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret trends and derive insight from KPIs.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a bias for action and results; excellent project management and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including professional writing, public speaking and active listening.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Experience with and knowledge of CX and AI-powered customer engagement solutions is a plus.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with and knowledge of CX platforms, Contact Center solutions, and/or AI-driven customer engagement (CCaaS, UCaaS, VoIP).
  • Experience with regional partners or service providers in cloud collaboration or AI-powered CX solutions.
  • Experience managing partnerships with consulting firms or systems integrators for an enterprise SaaS solution.
